Today marks 32 years since the passage of the Agdaban tragedy
On the night of April 7-8, 1992, Armenian militants completely destroyed the village of Agdaban in the Kalbajar district, comprising 130 houses. During this heinous act, 779 civilians were subjected to brutal torture, resulting in the deaths of 32 individuals, including 8 elderly men aged 90-100, 2 young children, and 7 women who were burned alive.
This genocide stands as one of the most egregious crimes against humanity in history—a horrific massacre perpetrated by Armenians against the Azerbaijani people with the aim of capturing Kalbajar, the gateway to Karabakh.
